Dr. Phil is a transplanted native of Los Angeles, California. He spent his early years at the University of Southern California where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. It was during dental school when Dr. Phil discovered his passion for service, education, and pediatric dentistry. He went on to complete his postdoctoral pediatric training at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
As a board-certified Diplomate, Dr. Phil has served all across the country from Boston, MA to Dallas, TX to Midland, TX to Los Angeles, CA to Brooklyn, NY. His journey has molded him into a superb clinician with expertise in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. He was honored for his commitment to patients, scholarly involvement, active involvement in organized dentistry, and community service by being awarded the distinguished designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Phil’s clinical philosophy revolves around two main focuses: 1) early intervention and prevention starting with the pregnant mother and newborn; 2) establishing a personalized treatment plan to address your child’s unique needs.
Dr. Phil is happily married to his wife Stephanie, an alumna of Tufts University and practicing Breast-Imaging Radiologist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He loves spending time with family, especially his two children Thomas and Iris. When not working, Dr. Phil enjoys the game of Texas Hold’em, traveling, photography, and fantasy sports.
“Having come full circle back to greater Boston, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you, your family, and our local communities. I will work diligently to develop your child’s pillars of success – trust, health, and prevention. What you should expect from me is honesty, respect, and a focus on treating your children like they are my own.” – Dr. Phil
